You may have already seen my Protein Pina Colada... So, what makes this recipe different or post-workout appropriate? My regular Protein Pina Colada is fairly high in healthy fat - which, as I've rambled on and on about, isn't the best post-workout! The higher carb/sugar of this recipe is best help in recovery and should be consumed within 30 minutes of your workout.

Yes, it's lacking the coconut... if you're looking for a more authentic pina colada, try my original version. This one is tweaked for post-workout nutritional requirements. 



3/4 Cup Frozen Pineapple Chunks
1/4 Cup Liquid Egg
1 Scoop Banana Whey Protein

Blend with Ice and Water
