The Nutty Professor

The Nutty Professor

This recipe is named after (and inspired by) the household Picky-Eater, who happens to be a Nutty Professor/doctor.  When we go to Starbucks, she orders her very own creation, which I estimate to be somewhere between 1000-1500 calories - tons of fat, sugar and carbs. So, as I do to most things she enjoys eating, I gave this unhealthy creation a makeover!

Despite her protests for "no cacao nibs", I put them in anyway. She had no idea :)

Cacao nibs are a great source of magnesium, which plays an important role in nerve and muscle function, bone strength and circulation. They're also loaded with antioxidants -  more than blueberries, red wine or green tea!

1/2 Oz Cacao Nibs
Coconut Crisps to taste
Frozen Banana
1 Scoop Vanilla Whey Protein
1/4 Cup Liquid Egg

Blend with Ice and Water/Coconut/Almond Milk!

*Optional: For more of a 'java' frappucino take on this recipe, add a TSP of instant coffee. This recipe is also great with a few TBSP of Walden Farms Chocolate Syrup, topped with Cool Whip Light*
