I couldn't think of a creative name for this recipe, so I just went with a descriptive name :) It's certainly a mouthful! If you can think of a good name for this recipe, post it on my facebook wall!
If you haven't tried cacao nibs before, you might want to use dark chocolate. Cacao nibs have a bitter taste to them and are quite hard and crunchy. If you haven't acquired a taste for them, using cacao nibs may ruin the recipe for you. If this is the case, I strongly encourage you to use dark chocolate chips :)
For Cookie Dough Recipe
1 Oz Cacao Nibs (Or dark chocolate chips)
3 TBSP Natural Peanut Butter (I used a 30 gram scoop)
2 Oz Fat Free Cream Cheese
2 Oz Fat Free Plain 0% Greek Yogurt
2 Scoops Vanilla Whey
To turn them into balls add:
1/2 Cup Oats
1 Extra Scoop Vanilla Whey Protein
- Melt peanut butter
- Combine all ingredients, adding protein last
- Slowly add protein until desired texture is reached (protein scoops can vary)
- If making protein balls, roll into 16-20 balls
- Place balls on waxed paper, lightly coated with non-stick spray
- Keep refrigerated
