Protein Hot Chocolate

Protein Hot Chocolate
Macros: Cals 178, Carbs 9, Fat 3, Protein 35, Sugar 0, Fiber 5





1/2 Cup Liquid Egg White (The pasteurized kind - it's safe, I promise)
2 TBSP Unsweetened Coco
1/2 Scoop Chocolate Protein
1/2 CupUnsweetened Coconut Milk (Carton)
1/4 Cup Water
2 TBSP Stevia
1 TSP Vanilla Extract
*Dash of cinnamon if desired - I love cinnamon!

For a little extra fat add
*1/8 Avocado for a creamier hot chocolate or to add more fat (makes it rather thick though)
* Some melted coconut oil
* TBSP Natural nut butter

- Heat coconut milk and water (stove or microwave) and put in blender
- Add powders into the blender
- Turn blender on low
- Slowly add egg whites

- Blend until frothy


If your blender isn't heat friendly, heat ingredients in a pot, whisking constantly.

Do not use a microwave - the eggs will cook and you'll end up with a foamy weird mass in your hot chocolate!

I put Cool Whip light on mine - it's not the healthiest but sometimes you need to treat yourself :)

This is also super easy if you use a Keurig for your hot water!
