Banana Proatmeal

Banana Proatmeal
Cals 285, Carbs 30, Fat 3, Protein 35, Sugar 2, Fiber 4

Here's my issue: I absolutely love bananas but rarely eat them (except for post-workout) because of their starch. I find that banana extract can make things taste like sunscreen, so what's a gal to do? I recently discovered Plantain Coconut Tea - it's so delicious! I don't even like tea! This new discovery has sparked a few recipe ideas... here's one of many :)

1/2 Cup Oats
1 Cup Brewed Plantain Coconut Tea
1 TSP Maple Extract
2 TSP Stevia
1 TSP Cinnamon
1/2 Cup Egg Whites
20 Grams Vanilla Whey Protein
Drizzle with Walden Farms Pancake syrup (or any sugar free/no calorie syrup)

- In a small pot, bring tea, cinnamon, stevia, maple extract and oats to a boil
- Reduce heat and slowly add egg whites
- Stir constantly until mixture thickens
- Turn off head and slowly mix in whey protein
- Drizzle Syrup on top (optional - it's quite flavourful without it)
