Chocolate Hazelnut Protein Bar

Chocolate Hazelnut Protein Bar

2 Dates
1 1/2 TBSP Water
1 TBSP Hazelnut Butter
1 TBSP Ground Flax (plus extra for coating)
1 TBSP Unsweetened Cocoa
1 Scoop Protein Powder (either chocolate or vanilla work)

- Remove pits from dates and place in a medium sized bowl
- Add Water
- Microwave for 30 seconds
- Using a knife and form, mash dates until smooth
- Add remaining ingredients and mix until smooth
- You may require extra water, depending on the size of your protein scoop. Add any extra water very slowly to avoid adding too much.
- On a sheet of waxed paper, sprinkle ground flax
- Roll protein mixture into a 'log', covering it with flax.
- Form into a bar shape
- Refrigerate for 20 minutes
- Enjoy!

Keep refrigerated!
